Words stores your saved word list locally on your device using Chrome's
chrome.storage.local API. We do not operate a server and do not
collect personal data.
When you look up a word, the extension sends that word to dictionaryapi.dev to fetch definitions. If you tap the speaker control, the extension may play pronunciation audio returned by that service. If audio is unavailable, your browser's built-in text-to-speech may be used instead. That third-party service has its own privacy policy.
We do not sell, share, or transmit your saved word list to any party.
Remove individual saved words with the ✓ control in the lookup
card or popup. To erase your entire saved word list, uninstall the extension
from chrome://extensions.
